Japanese American Museum

1. What did you like most about the Japanese American museum?
What I liked the most about the museum was the diagram that showed how the camps looked like.

2. Name one thing you learned.
One thing that I learned was that the Japanese were given numbers and were assigned to houses with people they didn't know.

3. What did you learn about the Japanese American experience?
I learned that it was a very hard time for them. Many who were relocated to a different area died because of the hard conditions.

1. The theme of the movie Pay It Forward , I think would be is being helpful. In the movie Trevor, the little kid in the movie, started out by helping out a complete stranger because of that people were starting to look out for other people who needed help.

2.The character that is most interesting would be trevor, because he took the assignment seriously and even though he thought that what he did didn't work it really made a difference.

3. If I were to write a script for the movie Pay It Forward part 2 I think I would make the characters do more good acts for their community and that way it would make Trevor proud

i. i think that this activity had a good affect on the 9th graders. kids were making an effort to be nice to their chosen ones.
ii. if we involved the 10th and 11th graders then i think that it might work better.
iii. i think it would be ok if we did this activity for the rest of the year. it might make kids be nicer to eachother
at first I had no idea of who my angel could be but then I started to noticed that my friend stephanie was being really generous and she would offer me food and things like that thats why think thats she is my angel. ........
what I did for my chosen was I tried to talk to her more and I also complimented her on her pretty hair. I also get to technology class earlier and I started her computer so that by the time she got here it was all set up and she was able to start. In between periods I would also say hi to her and make small talk. while we were working on our commercials i would ask her if she needed help and i would try to help if i could.

1. What did you think about meeting Joe Hicks?
I think that it was great being able to meet him. I learned a lot listening to him speak too.

2. What qualities does Joe have that make him a leader?
One of the qualities that Joe Hicks has is that he is very outspoken. He says what he believes and he is willing to hear to what others have to say.

3.Why do some leaders change their position on somw issues? Is this a good thing?
I think some leaders come to change their position because they have come to realize that they were wrong. A good leader to me is willing to change, but isn't changing all the time, that just means that they are unsure of them selves and that doesn't make them a good leader.

4.Is Joe Hicks an example of good leadership? Why or Why not?
I think he is. He knows what he's doing and and he is able to speak his mind.
